Photo Flash: First Look at THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES at Orlando Shakes
The Hound of the Baskervilles, adapted by Steven Canny and John Nicholson, based on the story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, runs now through November 19 at Orlando Shakespeare Theater. The production officially opens tonight, October 13, and BroadwayWorld has photos of the cast in action below!
The cast features Steven Lane as Sherlock Holmes, Simon Needham as Dr. Watson and Chris Crawford as Sir Henry.
On the creative team are director Jim Helsinger, scenic designer Steve TenEyck, lighting designer Eric T. Haugen, costume designer Lisa Zinni, sound designer Don Tindall and stage manager George Hamrah.
The Hound of the Baskervilles follows Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson as they journey to the English countryside to investigate the mysterious case of the Baskerville family. One by one the male heirs are dropping dead. But why? And who-or what-is responsible? In this hilarious and madcap spoof on the most famous detective of all time, a trio of actors play twenty-two roles in a production that is a master class in funny and perfect for the Halloween season.
