After spending 11 seasons playing Worf, the apex Klingon on Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and in five Star Trek feature films, Dorn has continued to work steadily in the film and television industry. His credits include Ted 2, The Santa Clause 2, The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, Showtime's Dead Man's Gun, a recurring role on ABC's Castle, and the on-camera host of Discovery Channel's World of Wonder. Dorn also starred as Duke Frederick in the Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles' 2012 production of As You Like It.

Dorn first visited Orlando Shakes in 2013 as a guest of Sir Patrick Stewart for An Evening with Sir Patrick Stewart-a one-night event that featured the celebrated actor.

"As a fan of Michael Dorn's work in the Star Trek series, I was delighted to meet him in person," said Helsinger. "After our event with Sir Patrick, Michael told me that he really liked our theater and would love to work here sometime. We are thrilled to have found the opportunity to have him share his unique history in the entertainment industry and immense talent with our Central Florida community."

Dorn will also star as Antony in Orlando Shakes' production of William Shakespeare's Antony and Cleopatra (March 29 - April 30, 2017). Tickets ($25 - $60) for Antony and Cleopatra are available now by calling (407) 447-1700 ext. 1, visiting www.orlandoshakes.org, or in person at the John and Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center (812 East Rollins Street).
