"The Night He Came Home! to SING!"

Halloween: The Musical is a parody of the 1978 John Carpenter film that introduced pop culture to the maniacal chop guy Michael Myers and actress Jamie Lee (the babysitter) Curtis. Campy, funny, and tuneful, Halloween: The Musical follows the residents of Haddonfield, Illinois on that fateful Halloween night when institutionalized killer Michael Meyers escapes the loony bin to have a bloody good time back in the old neighborhood.

In DeHass' musical version the cast of six tackle 19 different roles during the one-hour show, which includes actor John Graham who portrayed Bob in the original 1978 film. Other cast members include Shawn Walsh (Theme Park Diva Orlando Fringe 2003, 2005), Juan Cantu (Finding Nemo: The Musical), Jenn Warren (Theme Park Diva Orlando Fringe 2005 and Finding Nemo), Andrea Dunn Stack (Finding Nemo: The Musical)and David Houde (Theme Park Diva Orlando Fringe 2003, 2005 and Beauty & the Beast).

Bringing The Warped Idea To Life

Book, music, and lyrics were created by John B. deHaas, the creative mind behind the Orlando Fringe hit Theme Park Diva and the creator of music and lyrics for The Screw You Revue, Screwged, and Screw You: Déjà vu. John is an Orlando Fringe Festival four-time Patron Pick winner, who conceived of this deliciously all-wrong-for-the-right-reasons musical project.

Douglas White who Choreographed When Pigs Fly (Orlando Fringe 08) and Directed Edges: A Song Cycle (Orlando Fringe 09) has been engaged to direct Halloween: The MusicAl. White's D Squared Productions will also costume the show.

Mr. deHass has created some very fine musical arrangements for keyboard and cello for the production. Extremely gifted cellist Paul Leiner does deHaas' oft times eerie arrangements great justice while occasionally riffing on his own to perfect horror film underscoring effect. The two musicians will accompany the cast nightly, live on stage.
