Signing Time with Rachel Coleman at Mabee Center

Happy Hands Education Center will host “Signing Time!” concert with Rachel Coleman at the Mabee Center on Saturday, April 2 at 11:00 a.m. Rachel Coleman is Emmy® nominated and a co-creator of the “Signing Time!” television series. Coleman’s “Signing Time!” television series, DVDs, books and educational materials are the most popular materials for families learning sign language. The proceeds from the concert will benefit Happy Hands Education Center, a nonprofit school which serves children, birth to age 6, who are deaf, hard of hearing or have communication disorders. Happy Hands never denies enrollment to a child if the family cannot afford it. Since 50 percent of their families are low income, over 75 percent of the budget must be raised through donations and fundraising events.
