This dark, sexy tale follows the exploits of King Herod's court, including his stepdaughter, Salomé.
One night at a party, Salomé meets an eccentric prophet who has been imprisoned in the palace. Her obsession over the man paves the way for a bloody evening among all in attendance.
This streamlined adaptation puts more focus on character, dance, and the dark humor underlying the classical text.
