Broadway's Dee Hoty and George Dvorsky Lead Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma's A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, Now thru 8/9
Get swept away by an all-star cast in Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma's lush production of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, which runs today, August 5 through 9 at the Civic Center Music Hall. The show, which features the popular song "Send in the Clowns", stars Broadway's own Dee Hoty and George Dvorsky. Called "heady, civilized, sophisticated and enchanting" by the New York Times, Lyric's production is directed by artistic director Michael Baron and includes an original scenic design, new costumes, and a full orchestra.
"The show is full of beautiful waltzes, biting humor, and romantic interludes," said Michael Baron, Lyric's artistic director and director of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC. "The cast we've assembled is a dream one. I love the famous Judy Collins version of 'Send in the Clowns,' but to hear the song within the show it was written for gives it new meaning and poignancy.
