On Friday, June 25, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at the Green-Wood cemetery in Brooklyn, NY. The Knights and Gil Shaham will perform a fresh take on an enduring classic in this unique outdoor concert at Green-Wood Cemetery. As part of the unflinchingly daring Death of Classical series, Gil Shaham and Knights Members will play their pocket version of Beethovens Violin Concerto, Op. 61.The concert will take place at dusk, and will be preceded by a spirits tasting and live jazz. Join us for this once-in-a-lifetime event where one of todays greatest living violinists and one of Brooklyns most beloved ensembles, will strip away the layers of Beethovens immortal work until they find the eternity that lies at its center.Tickets cost $60: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/beethoven-violin-concerto-pocket-edition-tickets-151519513945?aff=ebdssbdestsearch Important things to note before purchasing your tickets:Attendees must fill out a health survey in advance of the event.Doors open at 6:45 PM, and the program starts at 7 PM, and lasts approximately three hours. No admittance after 8:30PM.The evening begins with jazz music and a spirits tasting from 7-9 PM. Then, from 9-10PM, Gil Shaham & The Knights take the stage.Outside food and drinks are prohibited, except water.Rain date Saturday, June 26.Health and safety protocols will be strictly enforced, including wearing a mask and keeping a distance of at least 6 feet from those not in your party.
