It’s 1976, in suburban New York, and Joyce and Nina – two married women – are having an affair. When Joyce’s daughter surprises her parents by bringing home her new college boyfriend, he stumbles on the women in an intimate moment. Both households are thrown into chaos, and all are set aswim, as every one of them is faced with a choice about who they are and what kind of life they will lead.
