Schreiber Shorts 2025: It Happened to Me at T. Schreiber Studio and Theatre

Spotlighting the power of the short form, T. Schreiber Studio invites audiences to our annual Schreiber Shorts, an evening of theatre celebrating new work by emerging and established playwrights. Join us from Aug. 21-24 at The Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre for a thoughtfully curated program of seven short plays that confront this year's theme, “It Happened to Me.” Each of the fully designed and staged shorts, performed by diverse members of our exceptional acting community, invites audiences to explore what it means to claim one’s experience . . . whether that’s the experience of a Gilded Age dandy seeking the help of a curmudgeonly country woman; a pair of sisters navigating the brutal landscape of war; an insomniac with questions about her boyfriend’s loyalty; ravers with checkered pasts; friends forging ahead through profound grief; a neurotic playwright with a sweet tooth; or two high schoolers faced with their best friend’s mysterious disappearance.
