Nineteen Years Later is a dramatic play inspired by J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter universe, and based on Jack Thorne and John Tiffany's Tony Award-winning play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The show is presented in association with Lumos, an international charity founded by J. K. Rowling, whose mission is to end the use of orphanages and institutions for vulnerable children around the world by 2050.
The play follows Albus, the second son of a now middle-aged Harry Potter, as he struggles to relate to his famous father and finds he doesn't quite measure up to expectations. Isolated, Albus finds connecting with those around him nearly impossible. Enter Cecilia, an American exchange student to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, who will challenge everything Albus knows - or thought he knew.
