HANG TIME, written and directed by Zora Howard, explores the complexities of Black male identity through the lens of intimate conversations among three men beneath an old tree. This production features Kamal Bolden as Slim, Julian Rozzell as Bird, and Bryce Foley as Blood. After a successful run at The Flea in 2023, the show will make its way to the historic Apollo Theater in November, offering a powerful narrative that juxtaposes love and struggle within the Black experience in America. Howard's directorial debut promises to engage audiences with its poignant and relevant themes.
