The Capital Improvements Committee of Champions for Quality Education, along with special guest His Eminence, Timothy Michael Cardinal Dolan, Archbishop of New York, will host its Annual Cocktail Party on Tuesday, June 20 at 6:00 PM at Pete’s Tavern, located at 129 East 18th Street, Manhattan. Pete’s Tavern is New York City’s oldest operating bar and restaurant, a fitting location to celebrate our historic Catholic schools.
The Capital Improvements Committee (CIC), raises funds for facility upgrades and renovations that are crucial to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and productive learning environment in elementary schools in the Archdiocese of New York. The Capital Improvements Committee, which is made up of NYC’s top leaders in the real estate and construction industries, has fundraised over $4 million dollars to provide a more nurturing environment to students as well as to help increase enrollment in schools.
Champions for Quality Education, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, provides under-resourced Catholic elementary schools in the Archdiocese of New York with funding for academic enhancements, technology, enrichment programming, and capital repairs.
