{Your Name Here} A Queer Theater Company Presents UNTITLED RAMON NOVARRO PROJECT Reading Tonight

By:

{YOUR NAME HERE} A Queer Theater Company is dedicated to producing and creating groundbreaking thought-provoking new works that positively depict the LGBTIQQA community. Tonight, Nov. 13, {YOUR NAME HERE} will continue its acclaimed Radical Acts reading series with James Pugh's UNTITLED Ramon Novarro PROJECT.

In 1968, Ramón Novarro, the reclusive Latino Hollywood actor and star of 1925’s silent film "Ben Hur," mourns his all-but-dead career by drowning his sorrows and indulging in "sin." Fearing his celebrity may entirely vanish like celluloid going up in flame, Novarro is haunted by old demons and ghosts from his past. Then, when two hustlers attempt to rob him, nightmares become reality on Halloween Eve... UNTITLED RAMÓN NOVARRO PROJECT is a fictional depiction based on the true and tragic final night of Novarro’s life.

The 7 PM reading will be held at TADA! Theater, 15 West 28th Street. David Macke, Artistic Director of {Your Name Here} will direct a cast that features Lou Liberatore, Raul Castillo, Joe Bettles, Connor Buckley, Christian Coulson, Carolyn Mignini, Sarah Reis, Nyell Segura and Martha Wollner.

The performance will be followed by a talkback moderated by renowned filmmaker, Jennie Livingston (Paris is Burning, Who's The Top?).

Radical Acts is a new developmental play reading series that gives new, raw, and exciting works space and resources to help guide them towards the next steps in their artistic journeys.

Tickets are a suggested donation of $5 and can be reserved through Brown Paper Tickets - www.brownpapertickets.com/event/294314.

{YOUR NAME HERE} (David Macke, Artistic Director / Jeremy Bohmstein, Managing Director) is a Queer Theater Company aimed at producing and creating groundbreaking and thought- provoking new works that positively depict the LGBTIQQA community and propel these stories to a larger audience. Our aim is to inspire, empower and celebrate. Our body of work will consist of full productions, a three-tiered reading series, talk backs, as well as a community/educational outreach component.
