Woodstock Fringe Premieres CHAPTER & VERSE, 8/5- 8/14
Woodstock Fringe presents CHAPTER & VERSE by Memrie Innerarirty, Fri & Sat Aug 5 & 6 at 8pm, Sun Aug 7 & 14 at 5pm.
The world premiere of CHAPTER & VERSE by Obie Award winner, Memrie Innerarity. A consummate performer, Memrie first appeared at the Fringe in 2004 with her wonderful STORIES TO BE READ WITH A SOUTHERN ACCENT, which played to standing ovations. This one-person show brings stories about growing up in the Deep South, and the search for a path from her Mississippi childhood to America.
Woodstock Fringe will also be staging a reading of LIES LIKE TRUTH, by George Wolf Reily, Sun Aug 7 at 3pm.
Featuring Norman Marshall, Chet Carlin MARK SAGE HAMILTON and Nicola Sheara. Two aging actors who were once best friends and colleagues in the Off-off Broadway movement of the sixties are reunited in a Manhattan old-age home and resume old conflicts as they attempt to foment an avant-garde theatre in the home. In the process they reveal many hilarious fables, legends and chronicles of the Off-off Broadway era.
