Will Taylor and Courtney Hammond Set for MITF's LOVERS, 7/15-8/1

Massimine, Roytman & Presentations present LOVERS as a part of the Midtown InterNational Theatre Festival. LOVERS features a book, music and lyrics by Christopher Massimine.

Arriving at her apartment, Jolie finds a mysterious package with a note attached from her ex-fiancee, Chip. Jolie's just returned from a funeral, Chip's funeral, and the note and package are postmarked a week ago from today, the day of Chip's death.

An edgy, sexy contemporary two-person musical scored with an original array of contemporary punk, pop, rock, and infused jazz, LOVERS, explores the darker side of a relationship.

The cast features Broadway's Will Taylor (La Cage Aux Folles, A Chorus Line, The Producers, 42nd Street) and Courtney Hammond (former television host of ShamuTV on Animal Planet and the gameshow Splat! on Nickolodean).

Christopher M. Czyz (Distracted (Roundabout Theatre Company), Something She Did (Primary Stages) directs.

LOVERS will play at The Beckett Theatre - 410 West 42nd Street from Thursday, July 15 through August 1.
