WHEN IT RAINS Opens at Producers Club 1/14, Hosts Talk Back with Tom Kane 1/16

A.M.L. Entertainment is proud to present a special post- show Talk-Back with writer Tom Kane of the Brooklyn Eagle newspaper following the January 16 performance of Anthony Michael Laura's When It Rains.

Performances begin January 14, 2009 at 8:00 pm at The Grand Theater at the The Producers Club. The Producers Club is located at 358 West 44th Street in NYC. Tickets are $22.00. Reservations can be made by calling 516-983-2791.

Tom Kane is a writer for the Brooklyn Eagle, a local broadsheet newspaper that covers the entire borough of Brooklyn. He is currently the Community Editor of the Bay Ridge Eagle with his own column "Citizen Kane". Writng mostly about community arts projects and local high school sports, his other passion is theater, where he has co-founded BrooklynOne Theater, a group that deals with with the written word by neighborhood playwrights.

When It Rains is a contemporary tragedy set in the home of Helen and Jacob Lombardi. Upon their daughter Taylor's release from prison for being wrongfully accused of the murder of her boyfriend Paul, Helen insists she see a therapist. Through the objections of Jacob and Taylor, Helen hires Madison Roberts. Loneliness, infidelity, love, death, and family are all explored in a drama that will make you question what's important and what happens to us WHEN IT RAINS.

Anthony Laura, playwright and director, has written, produced and directed several short and feature films that have been featured in the New York Independent Film and Video Festival. His film credits include E-mail My Heart, Choice or Consequence, and Schitzo, starring Marcienne Dwyer. Along with his film credits, he has recently written, produced and directed The Confession and The Third Step which premiered in January and July, respectively, at American Theater of Actors.
