On Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 7pm at Roy Arias Theaters in NYC, Turtle with Lemonade Productions will be holding a private industry reading of the new play "Duck Season" by Brian VanHooker, a writer represented by Abrams Artists Agency. Turtle with Lemonade is looking to build awareness about this new comedy by inviting Producers, Publishers and Reviewers to come see the staged reading.

“Duck Season” is a silly comic farce modeled after the style of George S. Kaufman. This full-length play focuses on First Lady Janet Watermain, whose husband, the President, has just lost his bid for reelection to a second term. Janet is desperately worried that once her husband leaves office, he’ll be forgotten by history, and decides that the only possible way to give him a legacy is to have him assassinated.

Those interested in attending the reading please email duckseason.twl@gmail.com. Seating is limited, so those interested in attending please RSVP by June 5.
