About The Show
"Kyle Loven just might be a burgeoning genius. Kyle Loven brings his haunting, visually stunning work of puppet theater to The Tank for its New York premiere. my dear Lewis combines objects come to life, video, original music and innovative puppetry. It's a little bit Edward Gorey, a little bit Sam Beckett, and always wholly original.

Lewis, at the end of his journey, is met with the task of looking back over a life lived. What unfolds is a pilgrimage made by his mind and body into the dark and dusty corners of memory.

Kyle Loven is currently a Seattle-based artist. His image-driven work combines puppetry, projections, objects and other art forms with live actors. In addition to his original creations, Kyle has worked most extensively with Michael Sommers and Susan Haas' Open Eye Figure Theatre but has also performed with Theatre de la Jeune Lune and The Children's Theatre Company. His original work has been seen in Taipei, New York, Minneapolis, Orlando and Seattle. Kyle is the recipient of grants from the Jim Henson Foundation and numerous Seattle- based organizations. www.kyleloven.com
