The Tank presents Overtime with The Garys on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011 at 9:30pm.

$5 at The Tank @ The Playroom Theater, located at 151 W 46th Street, 8th Floor New York, New York 10036

Does your boss make awkward and inappropriate jokes...constantly? Do you have a co-worker that loudly argues with his wife over the phone all day? Are you the guy that nails shoes on horses? We want to know!
"Overtime with The Garys" is an improvised show in which an audience member is selected and interviewed about their job. They then perform a series of fully improvised scenes based on details revealed in the interview. Come spend an hour with us and laugh (and drink) off that work stress you've been carrying around all week!

The Garys are a team of eight NYC-based long-form improvisers who met in 2009 while training at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. Collectively, members have also studied improv, sketch and theatre at The Magnet (NYC), Second City (Chicago), BMI, and with teachers from iO (Chicago). They have performed at venues all over NYC as well as at the Boston Improv Festival, The Providence Improv Festival and, most recently, the Del Close Marathon. In May of 2011, they produced and hosted The Garathon, a highly successful sixteen-team improv tournament at The Tank. The Garys are directed by Will Storie of UCBT-NY Harold teams Raynard and The Bishop.

The team's latest project, "Overtime with The Garys," runs at The Tank (151 West 46th St) and consists of a series of improvised scenes inspired by an audience member interview about the thing we all love to hate: work!
