The 2016 Fresh Fruit Festival presents THE FIERCE URGENCY OF NOW
By: A.A. Cristi
The 2016 Fresh Fruit Festival will certainly be FIERCE this year ... thanks to celebrated playwright Doug DeVita and the New York premiere of his fast-moving caustic comedy, THE FIERCE URGENCY OF NOW.
Kyle, an art director in a high-powered New York ad agency, tries to discover his real self amid power struggles and stereotypes. He finds an ally in Dodo, who understands his plight, being that she became a lady-living-legend in an era of "Mad Men."
THE FIERCE URGENCY OF NOW by Doug DeVita, featuring Matthew Jellison, Steven Hauck, Paloma Pilar, and Carole Monferdini, performs Friday 22 @ 7pm; Saturday 23 @ 6:30 pm; Sunday 24 @ 3:30 pm at The Wild Project, 195 East 3rd Street, NYC. www.freshfruitfestival.com
