Who is Teasy Roosevelt? Teasy is an Albany and NYC based comedian slash burlesque performer. As a comedian, she has been performing stand up, sketch, and improv for over ten years. Her performance roster has included such shows as Jungle! Jungle! (improv), Adam and Emily at the Movies (Performed in the Tallinn Improv Festival in Tallinn, Estonia), was the host of the weekly Magnet Mixer, and co-writer and performer in the yearly remake of The Paul Lynde Halloween Special. She was also the creator of and a performer In Focus: an improvised parody of The View, which has been an official selection of the Ladies are Funny Festival in Austin Texas, The Boston Improv Festival, and The Montreal Improv Festival. Teasy has trained with the Upright Citizens Brigade, The Second City, The Magnet Theater, and The Peoples Improv Theater. She has trained with such instructors as Armando Diaz (founder of the Magnet Theater, Upright Citizens Brigade), Amy Poehler (UCB, SNL, Parks and Rec), Peter Gwin (The Colbert Report), Michael Delaney (VEEP, UCB), and Christina Gausas (30 Rock, UCB). Workshops have included: T.J. & Dave, Matt Walsh (VEEP, UCB), Mike Myers, and Charna Halpern (Founder of IO Chicago).

Teasy has been performing burlesque for over seven years and has incorporated her love of presidential history with her extensive comedic experience into her performances. She is the producer of the American History burlesque show, Teasy Roosevelt's Guide to Titstory and is one third of the burlesque collective: Pop Culture Provocateurs.
