THE CURE Plays Roy Arias Theater 12/13

By:

A free reading of the rock n roll fable THE CURE will be presented Dec. 13 at 7 PM at Roy Arias Theater in Manhattan.

THE CURE was a selection of the 2009 New York Musical Theater Festival, where it played a sold-out run.

Directed by Elizabeth Lucas, the cast will boast MEMPHIS' Bryan Fenkart, Todd Alan Johnson (AIDA), Manu Narayan (BOMBAY DREAMS), Jacob Hoffman, Michael Hunsaker, Liana Jessop, Kelvin Moon Loh, Tony Ramos, Kyra Selman, and Cat Stephani.

In this rock n roll fable, two friends stumble across the world's last surviving vampires. Offered the chance to live forever, one man is seduced while the other barely escapes with his life, setting in motion an even greater fight for survival. At the crossroads of humanity and immortality, lies...THE CURE

Music direction is by Matthew Webb.

The reading is being produced by Samantha Saltzman as part of the 10th annual TRU (Theater Resources Unlimited) Musical Reading Series. The reading will be followed by a reception and a "Dollars and Sense" panel featuring prominent commercial producers, general managers and/or marketing experts.

Roy Arias Theater is located at 300 W. 43rd St. For reservations, email Mark@TheCureMusical.com
