Sheen Center to Feature Poetry, Rap and Spoken Word
This fall, The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture presents special events featuring some of brightest poets, spoken word and rap artists. Participating artists include poet Sarah Kay; acclaimed spoken word poet Anis Mojgani, writer, poet and author Clint Smith; poet, essayist, and cultural critic Hanif Abdurraqib; celebrated spoken word poet Caridad De La Cruz; two-time Tony Award nominee, Grammy nominee, and author reg. e. gaines; Pulitzer Prize winning poet Sharon Olds and spoken word poet and founder and co-director of Project V.O.I.C.E.and T.S. Eliot Prize winning poet Ocean Vuong.
