Rising Sun Performance Company's Founding Artistic Director Akia announced today that they will be bringing back its annual fan favorite for its 7th year. "Shhh... It's a Speakeasy" will make its return on Friday, November 3rd, 2017 for one night only.

Returning to the beautiful and historic Great Room at the Alliance of Residence Theatre's South Oxford Space, RSP is setting the stage for it's infamous immersive theatrical experience. The event originally began at the notorious UNDER St. Marks Theatre for several years, and at Theatre Lab in Manhattan before moving to Brooklyn two years ago for the annual event.

Set in an immersive & interactive party environment, audience members can dance, mingle and play with the sordid characters of the 1920s underworld. Set in Charley's nightclub, audience members unfold the mystery of Charley's disappearance; have run ins with business rivals, card sharks, dancing girls, ladies of the night and rich patrons. Watch from afar or play along, attendees will also have opportunities to win at casino style games of chance with fabulous prizes, learn the Charleston and perhaps help some star crossed lovers along the way...

Shhh... It's a Speakeasy is conceived and directed by Akia, Choreography & Musical Direction by Ashleigh Herndon and will feature the talents of RSP's critically acclaimed and award-winning ensemble and guest artists.
