"Saint Hollywood," a multimedia performance musical co-conceived and written by Willard Morgan and Jerrold Ziman, begins previews at Ideal Glass, 22 East 2nd Street, on Thursday April 14 at 8pm. Combining installation art, media art and performance, "Saint Hollywood" takes us on a genre-bending ride into the belly of the Hollywood beast. "Saint Hollywood" stars Willard Morgan, and features video design by Alex Koch and Lucia Jessum Lee, scenic design by Anna Kiraly, lighting by David Tirosh, and installation design by Darlene Ken. Jenny Lee Mitchell is the director. The show opens Off-Off-Broadway on Thursday May 5 at 8pm. Performances for the world premiere's open-ended engagement are Thursday through Saturday at 8pm.

A New York comedian about to abandon his Hollywood dreams is offered one last breakthrough gig. Is this his big break? Or is it the final gig he'll ever do... in L.A.? Careening through Los Angeles from club to coffee house, to open mic dive, working his material for the perfect killer set, Morgan stumbles into Tinsel Town's most celebrated martyrs of the Church of Eternal Fame, a gallery of extraordinary Hollywood eccentrics who ignite his imagination and inspire his journey. Taking us on a personal tour of their wondrous and tawdry shrines, Morgan is on the verge of joining their saintly order himself. But does he measure up? In this day of reckoning, his friends' unblinking individualism may be just beyond his reach.

A hysterical and audacious musical peep show into Hollywood celebrity, depravity and divinity, "Saint Hollywood" features songs by Morgan performed with an innovative, live-mix sound design created by John Sullivan, the production's music director. The onstage performers include the DJ Eunice Wong and the live-mix video VJ Lucia Jessum Lee. The costumes are by Uta Bekaia. The production manager is Robert Signom III.

A multimedia performance space, Ideal Glass is a laboratory and staging ground for cross-boundary experiments in theatre, music, performance, installation art and media art. For information visit www.idealglass.org
