Puppet Playlist 6: They Might Be Giants Plays The Tank 4/2, 4/3
Every once in a while, a band comes along that changes the course of human history. And that band is THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS. This is that Playlist. Puppet Playlist takes talented puppeteers and brilliant musicians and slams them together into an evening of live theater to stir the senses.
This month we bring you brand-new puppet pieces inspired by the immortal Brooklyn ambassadors of love, They Might Be Giants. The show will run the gamut of Giant's songs and attempt to bring their unique sensibility to the stage through puppets in what can only be described as "Sisyphean." The Playlist will also feature live musical interpretations of TMBG's songs by some of New York's most exciting young singer-songwriters. Featuring pieces by: Carole Simms, Eric Wright, Kate Brehm, Wonderspark Puppets, Jodi Eichelberger and Cathy McCullough, Nappy, Lydia Andrien and Matt Leabo, and Jigsaw Jones.
