Theater, poetry and visual art collide in this contemporary retelling of the Medusa myth. As Medusa frankly confronts her infamy, voices of survivors embolden her to unmask the lies surrounding her own story. Based on true accounts of survivors of sexual assault and complemented by the visual art of Kate Goltseva, this collaboration asks us to face the stories that need to be heard.

Kiss Me or Cut Off My Head was devised to raise money and build awareness for Margaret's Safe Place, a project of Shining Hope for Communities.

Starring Brooke M Haney as Medusa. Featuring video appearances by Giorgio Panetta as Poseidon, the survivor chorus of Dorothy Abrahams, Cody Ayrer, Amy Barrick, Christopher Birk, Erin Cobb, Mia Guzman, Bryant Hernandez, Chengusoyane Kargbo, Ellen Ko, Ellie Lee, Angela Lewis, Sharon Litwinoff, Laura Peterson, Courtney Silber, Michael Tyler, Nadira Foster Williams, Rachel Yong, Tania Zikos, and special voice-over appearance by Madyson Pelligrino as Snake.

With lighting design by Mary Ellen Stebbins, fight choreography by Shad Ramsey (Associate Fight Director for Broadway's Memphis, and Dr. Zhivago; Associate Fight Director for Papermill Playhouse's Hunchback of Notre Dame; Fight Director for NY Classic Theatre's As You Like It, McCarter Theatre's Barber of Seville and Marriage of Figaro, Metropolitan Opera's Two Boys).
