Playhouse Creatures Theatre Company presents their 2nd Annual Tennessee Williams Festival:

A reading of the one act "Kingdom of Earth", featuring Geneva Carr and Bobby Moreno, with Ted Ednie.

Followed by a panel discussion, "Directing Tennessee Williams," featuring directors Travis Chamberlain of The New Museum (Green Eyes), Cosmin Chivu (Something Cloudy, Something Clear and The Mutilated), Emily Mann of the McCarter Theater (A Streetcar Named Desire on Broadway, and many others), Jodie Markell (the film, The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond), and Austin Pendleton (numerous Williams revivals including Vieux Carré at the Pearl Theater) in conversation with Thomas Keith (Creative Producer of the recent revival of Williams' The Mutilated). The directors will share their experiences and concepts for interpreting late and little-known Williams plays, an original Williams screenplay, as well as iconic and well-known plays such A Streetcar Named Desire.

The hour-long discussion will include time for questions from the audience.

Please join us from 7-9pm Monday June 23rd for this one night only event which will benefit Playhouse Creatures Theatre Company's 2015 Tennessee Williams Festival. Wine reception at 6:30, reading starts promptly at 7pm. The festival will take place at TACT Studio/The Actors Company Theatre, located just north of Union Square, 900 Broadway, Suite 905.
