Paulo Szot To Headline Antonia Green Memorial Benefit
Tony Award winner Paulo Szot will present a recital on May 19th, 2019 at 7:30 PM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (3 W 65th Street) on New York's Upper West Side.
Mr. Szot, who won the Tony Award for his portrayal of Emile in the Lincoln Center Theatre's South Pacific, is widely acclaimed as one of today's leading operatic baritones. He has performed in new productions at the Metropolitan Opera, Paris Opera, Washington National Opera, Rome Opera and many others. Most recently, he appeared as Juan Peron in Opera Australia's production of Evita.
The recital is given in memory of Antonia Green and all proceeds benefit the Barbara Volcker Center for Women and Rheumatic Diseases at New York's Hospital for Special Surgery.
