Partial Comfort's WELCOME MAT READING SERIES Plays The Wild Project

Partial Comfort Productions follows up its much-acclaimed productions of Samuel D. Hunter's A Bright New Boise and Thomas Bradshaw's The Bereaved with the their annual WELCOME MAT READING SERIES of new plays.

The four-week WELCOME MAT READING SERIES will be staged Sunday evenings at 7:00 pm at The Wild Project (195 E. 3rd Street b/w Aves. A & B) includes work by Thomas Bradshaw (The Bereaved), Chisa Hutchinson (She Like Girls), Jonathan Caren (Catch the Fish), and Chad Beckim (The Main(e) Play). Directors for the series include Tea Alagic, Erica Gould and Victor Maog. Admission is free. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservation required.

The schedule for the WELCOME MAT READING SERIES is:
1/9: The Ashes by Thomas Bradshaw, directed by Tea Alagic
1/16: The Subject by Chisa Hutchinson, directed by Erica Gould
1/23: Three by Jonathan Caren, directed by Victor Maog
1/30: A Good Ending by Chad Beckim (Director TBD)

Partial Comfort Productions is a collaborative ensemble devoted to the development and presentation of original new theater. The company was co-founded in 2002 by Chad Beckim and Molly Pearson. Past productions include Samuel D. Hunter's A Bright New Boise (Best of 2010, New York
Magazine), Thomas Bradshaw's The Bereaved (Best of 2009, Time Out New York), a trio of acclaimed works by Beckim (nami, The Maine Play and ...a matter of choice), Ross Maxwell's Open House (Best Ensemble Award winner at FringeNYC 2006); Craft and Nelson by Sam Marks; Kidstuff by Edith Freni, Booty Candy by Robert O'Hara; and Play by OHara, Chay Yew, Kia Corthron, Eddie Sanchez, Keith Adkins and Tracey Scott Wilson.
