LaMicro Theater, Puy Navarro and Francisco Reyes join forces for the first time to co-produce the US Premiere of Juan Mayorga's NOCTURNAL CREATURES. This is the second Mayorga play produced in New York, following the critical acclaim of Way to Heaven in 2009, which became a NY Times Critics' Pick, Backstage Critic's Pick and NYTheatre.com Reviewer's Pick. The show plays for a limited engagement from March 9th to March 17th, 2012 at The Directors Company, located at 311 West 43rd Street, 4th Floor, Suite 409.

Spain's National Theater Award winner Juan Mayorga, born in 1965, is one on of the country's most prolific contemporary playwrights. He has written over twenty plays, produced worldwide and translated to more than 15 languages. Some of his most important works are Way to Heaven (Himmelweg), Perpetual Peace, Love Letters to Stalin and Darwin's Turtle.

The cast of Nocturnal Creatures includes Pietro Gonzalez, Berioska Ipinza, Puy Navarro and Francisco Reyes. The design team is comprised of Jonathan Collins (sets), Tim Lord (lights), Andrea Hood (costumes) and David Corsello (sound). Photography is by Nick Rogers. The play is directed by Jerry Ruiz, whose recent credits include productions for Clubbed Thumb and Repertorio Español.
