Merry-Go-Round Playhouse Brings Home Three SALT Awards

Merry-Go-Round's production of THE DROWSY CHAPERONE swept the 8th Annual SALT Awards Summer Production category with a win for Best Production; Best Actor, Bob Moss; and Best Actress Bethany Moore.

"We are so grateful to Bill Brod and Syracuse New Times for sponsoring this event to celebrate theatre in Central New York and we are so honored to receive these awards," said Producing Director Ed Sayles.

Merry-Go-Round Playhouse is opening an exciting season featuring ANYTHING GOES, HAIRSPRAY, COOKING WITH THE CALAMARI SISTERS: MANGIA ITALIANO!, 42ND STREET, DO BLACK PATENT LEATHER SHOES REALLY REFLECT UP?, and THE MARVELLOUS WONDERETTES. The season begins June 1st with toes tapping all the way through October 1st.

General Admission Tickets are $37-$43. Discounts are available for Seniors (62+), Students (w/ID), and Youth (under 18). Group rates are available for parties of 15 or more. Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, widely known as "Broadway in the Finger Lakes" is located at Emerson Park in Auburn, NY. The not-for-profit professional theatre company produces six musical productions annually.
