MOCK YOUR WORLD Musical to Play 7-Week Run at The Stand, Beg. 4/25
The spectacularly naughty musical parody MOCK YOUR WORLD is coming to New York's sizzling new bi-level Comedy Club and restaurant, The Stand. Beginning a seven-week run of hilarity and fun on Thursday, April 25th, the show satirizes the absurdity of our daily lives through witty songs and a naughty sense of humor.
MOCK YOUR WORLD takes the audience on a trip with topics like snatch shaving, mommies secretly wanting to be rock stars and how hooking up with strangers on the bus is a delicate process. With songs titled "Save My Ass for Last" and their newest anthem "Pie Guy," MOCK pokes fun, teases, and gets downright naughty...about everything!
Brought to you by Little Benita Productions and HyLo Entertainment, MOCK YOUR WORLD has sold out Ars Nova, The Zipper Theatre, Rockwood Music Hall, and The Laurie Beechman, and will now be gearing up for their first EVER seven week run, giving fans something to look forward to every Thursday (10 p.m.) at The Stand Restaurant and Comedy Club. Located in New York City's Gramercy neighborhood, this new, bi-level upscale restaurant and Comedy Club is where celebrated comedians such as Dane Cook, Jim Gaffigan and Janeane Garofalo have all performed.
MOCK YOUR WORLD'S talented cast includes Lisa Rothauser (The Producers on Broadway), David Perlman (Broadway's Baby it's You!, Off-Broadway's Yank!), Lindsay Nicole Chambers (Broadway's Lysistrata Jones, Legally Blonde, Hairspray) and Stanley Bahorek (Broadway's Spelling Bee, Off-Broadway's Queen of the Mist, See Rock City). Directed by Andrew Neisler and Lee Kasper, and with music and lyrics by Andrew Byrne (Les Miserables, A Class Act, Triumph of Love), this ensemble is guaranteed to make you roar, blush, and definitely wish you hadn't brought your parents.
