Following a well-received extended run at the 2012 FRIGID NY festival, the timely comedy Missed Connections: An Exploration into the Online Postings of Desperate Romantics will begin a series of performances at The Laurie Beechman Theatre on October 1.

Produced by Royanth Productions (associate producer of NYMF’s award-winning Central Avenue Breakdown) and picked by The New York Times as one of the “Five Must-See Shows At This Year’s Festival”, the show brings audiences a core cast of four talented comedians. Using real postings from the infamous Craigslist section, the group will dive headfirst into dozens of unique characters. With a variety of locations, intentions and grammar, Missed Connections is a show of endless hilarity.

Previous performances were staged at The Kraine Theater, The Producers Club, The Magnet Theater and The Brooklyn Lyceum (for the New York Times recognized UglyRhino).

The show is performed by Jennifer Jean Anderson*, Ricky Dunlop*, Jake Mckenna and Lauren Roth, and will feature a special guest artist at each performance.

All tickets are $15, with a $15 food/beverage minimum and are available at SmartTix.com or by calling the Laurie Beechman Theater at 212-695-6909. 2012 Show Schedule: Monday, October 1, 9:30pm Monday, November 5, 9:30pm Monday, December 3, 9:30pm Show information is available at www.missedconnectionsshow.com. The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located inside the West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd St at 9th Ave Royanth Productions.
