Alexander Gemignani made his Broadway debut in Roundabout Theatre's 2004 Broadway mounting of Assassins. He has appeared in concert versions of both South Pacific (with Reba McEntire and Brian Stokes Mitchell at Carnegie Hall) and Passion (with Patti LuPone, Michael Cerveris and Audra McDonald). In addition, Gemignani participated in a memorable performance of Openin g Doors from Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along at Symphony Space as part of Wall to Wall Sondheim, celebrating Sondheim's 75th birthday. Recently, he starred as Jean Valjean in the Broadway revival of Les Miserables, and as the Boatman/Dennis in Sunday in the Park with George.
