LANDSCAPE follows a group of strangers striving to connect to with one another as they hustle through an impersonal metropolis. An overarching theme unearths what lies beneath every seemingly "dog vs cat" encounter: the yearning for community. LANDSCAPE reconstructs the "city of strangers" paradigm through sensuously violent and fluid movement sequences that break through to moments of shocking intimacy.

The dancers include: Brionna Williams, Xavier Townsend, Sara Rodriguez, and Spencer Grossman.

JANICE ROSARIO, a graduate of F.H. LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts and Hunter College, has been been recognized as an innovative force in dance who is "changing the expectation of ballet vocabulary." Since making her professional debut, she has been commissioned and presented by The Moving Beauty Series; concert debut and 2015 solo commission recipient, Tobago Contemporary Dance Festival; international choreographic debut, David Parker's Soaking WET Series; solo concert debut, Chen Dance Center; 2015 newsteps commission, CounterPointe, Triskelion Arts' Split Bill Series, La MaMa Moves! 2017 Dance Festival and Dance at Socrates; August 2017. In Fall 2017, Janice will be creating a new work on the students of Columbia University for their November concerts.

FAST FORWARD, is a dance series curated by Sangeeta Yesley that provides opportunities for choreographers working in all dance forms to workshop longer, more developed pieces that run 25 - 35 minutes. The series takes place 10 times throughout the year and features 2 choreographers or dance companies each evening on a shared bill curated around a theme. The theme for September 19th is Awareness, featuring Janice Rosario and Company and Carspm Reiners & Artists.
