By: Gabrielle Sierra
Inproximity Theatre Company will present the New York premiere of John Corwin's drama NAVY PIER as a kick off to its 2011-2012 Season with previews beginning on Thursday, May 5 at the Theatre Row Studio Theater (410 W 42nd Street). The production will have its official opening on Wednesday, May 12, 2011. Bryn Boyce directs.
IN a swift 90 minutes, NAVY PIER interweaves the stories of college friends and aspiring writers Martin and Kurt, along with Liv and Iris, (the women in their lives) in intersecting monologues and flashbacks. Each of them must navigate rocky waters when personal and professional lives collide. This one-act play confronts the painful and poignant journey of finding your own voice.
