The Harbor Lights Theater Company (Harbor Lights), Staten Island's only professional Equity Theater Company, led by Founders and Artistic Directors Tamara Jenkins and Jay Montgomery, is pleased to announce the return of last spring's successful Broadway Shines on Harbor Lights with this year's production of SHOWSTOPPERS.

Join Harbor Lights and support their upcoming season of professional productions and theater education by attending the fundraising event of the year tonight, April 28th at 7 P.M. at the Music Hall, Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden.

Broadway Shines on Harbor Lights 2016 - SHOWSTOPPERS is a fitting way to capture the spirit and mission of Harbor Lights - Bringing Broadway to Staten Island (and beyond) - by kicking off the upcoming season with a thrilling evening of song and dance from your favorite Broadway shows performed by some of Broadway's brightest stars.

"Don't wait to get your tickets for this one night only evening of Broadway celebration. Just ask those who attended last year. You don't want to miss this! " said Tamara Jenkins.

"SHOWSTOPPERS is a great way to get a little bit of everything Broadway. This year we are featuring large dance numbers along with brillaint solo and duet performanes from show like Cats, Phantom, Les Miserables, West Side Story, Gypsy, A Chorus Line, Spring Awakening, and so much more. Your attendance also supports our efforts to create a special place for local theater goers to see the highest level of entertainment right here in Staten Island at affordible prices, and to expose new, young audiences to the magic of live theater," continued Jenkins.

See Broadway's finest stars singing and dancing show stopping numbers from shows you love and know: Phantom, Les Miserables, Cats, West Side Story, a Chorus Line,Spring Awakening, and many more.

SHOWSTOPPERS will also include some of Harbor Light's favorites such Tony nominee Sally Mayes (She Loves Me, Pete 'n Keeley), local Broadway veterans Mimi Quillin (Sweet Charity, Ragtime) and Analise Scarpaci (Matilda, A Christmas Story), and Broadway veterans Patti Mariano (42nd Street, Full Monty, HLTC's Music Man) and Alena Watters (Pippin, Addams Family, Sister Act)....plus many more to be announced soon.

VIP ticket holders will be invited to an after party with the cast where they will have last chance bidding rights to an exclusive array of items including hard to get theater tickets, backstage passes, rare original artwork, vacations, and designer clothing.

Harbor Lights is the first and only professional Equity Theater Company in Staten Island's history. Since founding Harbor Lights in 2010, Broadway veterans and Harbor Lights Founding Artistic Directors Tamara Jenkins and Jay Montgomery, have begun building a bridge from Broadway to Staten Island, bringing the nation's best to work with their community's finest. In four seasons of producing plays and musicals, Harbor Lights has presented over 75 Broadway professionals, including Tony, Grammy, Oscar, Emmy, Drama Desk, and Obie award-winning and - nominated artists, in sixteen productions at Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Gardens.
