Frigid New York Presents YEAR OF THE SLUT, 2/24

By:

FRIGID New York Presents a JJRockstar Production: Year Of The Slut, a racy, coming of age comedy. Jeff Murray, recipient of the 2009 LA Times Critic's Choice Award, directs the one-woman show, which is written and performed by the talented, young actress Jennifer Lieberman. This entertaining and eye-opening play opens Thursday, February 24th at The Red Room as part of the FRIGID New York Festival.

Year Of The Slut chronicles the hilarious, absurd and sometimes heart-warming adventures of a naive Jewish Canadian girl who moves to New York City. It's here the horny 18-year-old virgin begins her rocky, but starry-eyed quest for the perfect storybook romance.

Jennifer Lieberman shines in this one-act play about first loves, heartbreak and sexual adventures. Lieberman brings ten vivid characters to life while successfully weaving her provocative and sensual poetry into the tale.

Year Of The Slut features original music written by Grammy-award-winning composer CJ Vanston (Waiting for Guffman, A Mighty Wind). The accompanying choreography has been arranged by Danielle Hobbs, best known for Beyonce's Baby Boy music video.
