Frank Spotnitz Make Special Guest Appearance at Broadway Comedy Club NYCC Comedy Party
The Broadway Comedy Club (318 West 53rd Street, New York, NY 10019) is hosting a special New York Comic Con happy-hour Comedy Party on Friday October 9, 2015 at 6pm. Special guests - now confirmed - include Frank Spotnitz, in town promoting his new Amazon series, The Man in the High Castle. Other guests include comedy by LMAO Improv, hosted by Walt Frasier (Royal Pains, Blue Bloods, Lilyhammer) and Trivia by X-Files News. This event is open to the general public and NYCC Badge Holders. The doors and the bar will open at 5:30 so come early for food, beverage and socializing with X-Philes, Duchovniacs and other Sci-Fi / NYCC fans. At 6pm X-Files News will get the festivities started with trivia contest open to all to participate. At 6:30pm LMAO takes the stage for some interactive musical improv comedy based on audience suggestions and participation. The evening's climax will be a panel discussion with Frank Spotnitz.
One of the original writers and producers from the X-Files, Frank Spotnitz has been the driving force behind many science fiction projects including Harsh Realm and The Hunted. X-Files News will host a panel discussion with Mr. Spotnitz, including audience Q&A about upcoming seasons of Man in the High Castle (Amazon) and X-Files (FOX).
NYCC Badge holders can also see Frank Spotnitz Friday at the Man in the High Castle Panel Friday at 4:15. X-Files has there Panel Saturday at 1:15pm on the Main Stage. Improv Comedy Fans can see LMAO live every Saturday at 8pm.
