This fall, the block will become a premiere and default destination for art, culture, history, food and event lovers of all kinds. A myriad of special celebrations and events that cannot be missed will erupt downtown in one mammoth spell. And there is much more to come!

Diversity runs through hundreds of dance, theater, circus, visual arts, cabaret, shopping, eating and drinking events, giving you plenty to chose from; whether you are looking for cabaret by women and trans people of color or gigs by young local musicians. Plus, FAB launches their major sustainability program with several participating venues. This will put the East Fourth Street Cultural District at the forefront of environmental activity in NYC. Check www.fabnyc.org for a more details. This FAB Fall will make New York City history.

Over the last 10 years, the East 4th Street Cultural District has developed exponentially, a testament to the strength of the neighborhood's passion and productivity. FAB has been instrumental in this progress and now connects beyond the block to the East Village & Lower East Side area which is truly the city's experimental and innovative heart. Diverse lifestyles abound and more restaurants thrive here than anywhere else. It's no mistake that we have been voted the number one neighborhood in the city by Village Voice and most recently awarded for our "protection and expansion" of creative life by Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation.

FAB's Executive Director, Tamara Greenfield, says "For 10 years FAB has been representing artists and cultural organizations in the EV and LES. Millions of people from New York City and far away have enjoyed the offerings in our neighborhood and we hope this will encourage millions more in the years to come."
