Enjoy this SOLD-OUT hit from the 2008 Toronto Fringe Festival, a two woman multi-character comedy about an inept waitress, a feisty senior and their nursing home break-out.

Swing to and from a present day Jamaican diner and 1940s wartime Britain. This funny and poignant story explores feeling alive and needed at any age through the relationship between 85 year old Sybil, and 40-something Kate. Experience colorful locals including Sybil's son, WWII vet Fred, a tough biker, the Jamaican Diner's owner, Peg, and many others as we flashback to events that shaped Sybil's life.

See the show that was called "funny, sad, quirky and sweet all at once" by Canada's Toronto Star.

Hale's two other plays have both had critical acclaim: I Won't Tell A Soul (Gryphon Theatre; Port Hope Festival) had the reviewers gushing "Tell Everyone-this play is really good," Cobourg Daily Star and "It's worth telling your friends about," Barrie Advance. Her second play Heads Will Roll, first played at Fringe Nord. Press quote: "I was bowled over by the high quality...Strong! Strong! Strong!" Sudbury Star.
