ESTHER UNMASKED Announced In NYC This Spring

Writer and Director Jake S. Friedman brings the Bible's Book of Esther vividly to life, revealing the relevance of their story in our present lives. By exposing the heart and courage in this timeless political drama, "Esther Unmasked" leaves audiences feeling hopeful, enlightened, and filled with song!

"Esther Unmasked"'s music is arranged and directed by off-Broadway composer Josh Ehrlich, with choreography by Abby Bernbaum and Eve Jacobs, and additional guidance by professional director, playwright, and scholar, David Willinger. Many of the players in the current cast have performed on the professional stage and screen.

This single community-led workshop performance is just one part of a Purim holiday celebration hosted by Romemu: Judaism for the mind, body, and spirit.

Performance: March 20, 2019; Time: 8:00pm. Run Time: approx. 60 min. Location: 165 West 105th Street, on the corner with Amsterdam Avenue, in the West End Presbyterian Church (please do not contact the church for information).
