Duplex Cabaret Theatre Presents FAIRY TALE CONFIDENTIAL, 11/16 & 12/15

By:

A comical look at the traditional fairy tales we grew up on from the perspective of colorful and outspoken characters who enjoy telling their individual stories as well as setting the record straight on what really "went down" behind the gates of the Fairy Kingdom and why the Yellow Brick Road led to nowhere!

Written and directed by Keith Myers, "Fairy Tale Confidential" is a satirical and sometimes biting play, made up of comical monologues featuring favorite childhood characters such as: "The Evil Queen", "The Ugly Stepsister", "Little Red Riding Hood", "Beauty and the Beast", etc. Starring Jennifer Ryan, Ariel L. Jackson, and Keith Myers, the production was originally performed during the summer of '10 at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre in the heart of the West Village. After receiving positive feedback from audience members as well as those involved with The Duplex, two more performances have been added to the Cabaret's fall lineup, November 16 & December 15, 2010.

Portion of the proceeds are benefiting the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, an organization Mr. Myers is proud to be associated with being a nine year survivor of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. It is also a way for Keith to give back to a cause he cares deeply about.
Featured below is all the information about the show as well as the link, which takes you directly to the website of the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, so if you are unable to make it to a performance you can still give a donation.

There will be no cover charge for the November 16th performance, only a 2 Drink Minimum, but donations to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society are greatly appreciated. Reserve your seat today on-line or you can R.S.V.P @ kmyers2078@aol.com
