An Equity staged reading of the new musical Ghostlight will be presented on Thursday, April 21st in New York City at Center Stage New York (48 West 21st Street). The invited industry reading is presented by Massimine/Roytman/Presentations and will begin at 6:00 PM.

Ghostlight tells the story of the life and death of Ziegfeld Folly Girl Olive Thomas, now known as the ghost who haunts the New Amsterdam Theatre on Broadway. Thomas rose to fame as a silent film star before her untimely and mysterious death in 1920, just days before her 26th birthday. Ghostlight is described as a "tribute to the Golden Age of Broadway, while still connecting with a modern audience." The book, music and lyrics are written by Matthew Martin and Tim Realbuto.

The cast features Rachael Fogle (National Tour of Little Women) as Olive Thomas; Gary Lindemann (Broadway's The Phantom of the Opera, National Tour of High School Musical) as Florenz Ziegfeld, Jr.; Barrymore Award Nominee Matt Leisy (currently starring as The Boy in Off-Broadway's The Fantasticks) as Olive's husband, Jack Pickford; Kristen Gehling (Promises, Promises at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse) as Ziegfeld's wife, Billie Burke; Amanda Taraska (National Tour of Henry and Mudge) as Fanny Brice; newcomer Dina Grilli as Molly Cook; Jacey Powers (David Cromer's Our Town at the Barrow Street Theatre) as Annabelle; and singer/songwriter Maura Matlak (NYMF's Menny and Mila).

Rounding out the ensemble are Mario Castro, Derrick Bryant Marshall, Cara Picone, and Tom Schario.
