By:

Atlantic Theater Co and Atlantic For Kids present the New York Premiere of The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs! The show features book and lyrics by Robert Kauzlaric, music by Paul Gilvary and William Rush. It is adapted from the book, The True Story of the Three Little Pigs, by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith (Copyright © 1989 by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith).

Directed by Anya Saffir, the features musical direction by Nate Weida, choreography by Alison Beatty, scenic and lighting design by Gabe Evansohn, costume design by Katja Andreiev, puppet design by Katey Parker and artistic direction by Alison Beatty.

The cast includes Max Bisantz, Paul Eddy, Janna Emig, Jessica Frey, Benjamin Katz, Emil McGloin, Michael R. Piazza, Rebecca Schoffer, and Chloé Wepper

In this rousing courtroom dramedy, the most infamous carnivore of modern times, the Big Bad Wolf, is put on trial for crimes against three swine. Did he huff? Did he puff? Did he blow those houses down? Audience plays jury after hearing the side of the story they've never heard: the wolf's side.

Guilty or Not Guilty?...YOU decide the verdict! Either way, you'll go hog-wild for this musical romp through the Piggsylvanian justice system!

All performances are at Classic Stage Company, 136 East 13th St. The show is open to children of all ages. Most suitable for children ages 5 to 11 years old.

Performances are held every Saturday and Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Performances begin Saturday, October 8th, 2011 and run through Sunday, October 30th, 2011.
