Antony Raymond's new play, yeah, I met this girl... will have its World Premiere at UNDER St. Marks Theatre on January 28th. Raymond also serves as director.

Elsinore County which is now in its 3rd season, received two New York Innovative Theatre Award Nominations for their production of last season's Pretty Babies including a win for Dan McVey as Best Supporting Actor.

The ensemble cast of yeah, I met this girl... features Stacey Roca who had a recurring role as Rachel on the UK series The Office staring Ricky Gervais; she also played Katrina Howard in Waking the Dead (BBC). The production is being produced by the critically acclaimed Elsinore County Theater Company who previously produced the plays Elsinore County (The Lion Theatre/Theatre Row), Julio! (The Kraine Theater), Gin & Milk (FringeNYC) and last season's Pretty Babies at 13th Street Rep.

When the possibility of love and sex enter Guy's downtown Manhattan restaurant, it drives him and his two best friends to near insanity and back again. "yeah, i met this girl..." is Elsinore County's latest romp, examining what it's like to be a single man today on the busy streets of New York City.

The cast features Eric Doviak (ABC'S What Would You Do?), Chris Heard (2015 NYIT Award Nominee for Best Lead Actor), Dan McVey (2015 NYIT Award Winner for Best Supporting Actor), Amanda Kristin Nichols (The Tempest/Sag Harbor), Stacey Roca (BBC's The Office), and Zina Wilde (Showtime's Billions).

The creative team includes sound design by Dean Anthony, lighting design by Daryl Embry, casting by Maurice Turtelli, stage management by Jared Dante. General Manager Laura Gosheff, and Executive Director Daniel Neiden.

Performances take place at UNDER St. Marks, 94 St. Marks Place, (Between First Avenue & Avenue A), New York, NY 10009. Subways: F to 2nd Avenue, L to 1st Avenue, 6 to Astor Place. Tickets are $25.00 and are available at www.elsinorecounty.com.

Playwright/director Antony Raymond has managed to build an assorted, wide-ranging body of New York theater in the last decade. He is a classically trained actor turned playwright and director. His written works produced in New York City include Gin and Milk (CSV Flamboyan), The Autobiography Of A Guy Who Knew Me, Part One (LaMama), Elsinore County (Theatre Row & Cherry Lane Studio Theater), Lustyness: Plays About This Guy Named Lou (UNDER St. Marks), JULIO! (Kraine Theater), and Pretty Babies (13th Street Rep) also all directed by Raymond. Additional directing credits include the one woman show, Bette Davis Ain't For Sissies (59E59) and Bluff (Provincetown, MA). As an actor, Raymond has appeared in several Off Broadway shows, including: Fools In Love, The Tempest, and A Midsummer Night's Dream. He has studied with Uta Hagen, Austin Pendleton, Reed Birney, and Robert Perillo. Before turning to the theater he was a professional wrestler who wrestled WWE legends, such as The Iron Sheik, Fabulous Moolah, Mae Young, and The Honky Tonk Man.
