THAT PHYSICS SHOW Sets Summer Performance Schedule at Elektra Theater

By:

That Physics Show, recipient of the 2016 Drama Desk Award for "Unique Theatrical Experience," written and performed by lifetime physics demonstrator David Maiullo, has announced a new summer performance schedule at the Elektra Theater (300 West 43rd Street - entrance just west of 8th Avenue). Beginning Saturday, July 2, performances will be on Saturday & Sunday at 12pm & 3pm and on Wednesday at 2pm through September 4th. Eric Krebs produces and directs.

What damage can a ping-pong ball do as it hurtles 700 miles an hour through a vacuum tube? Can you see the shape of sound in a dancing flame? "OH, NO! That bowling ball is going to smash him in the face"...but it didn't!

Based on the hundreds of physics experiments that are presented at physics conferences and in classrooms across the country, That Physics Show features segments on motion, momentum, vacuum, friction, energy, density, fluid motion, sound waves and sound vibration, light waves, temperature and many more from the world in which we live - a world controlled by physics. You've never seen anything like this before! Mr. Maiullo has been a physics demonstrator at Rutgers University for over 20 years and most recently became a regular on "The Weather Channel" and a presenter at national physics festivals.

"Surprise of surprises," exclaims Krebs. "A concept for a physics show that I have been thinking about for 15 years has suddenly become an exciting reality. I would not have imagined that physics could be so entertaining, but in watching Dave Maiullo for nine weeks, I have become a true believer. That Physics Showfulfills one of my passions... once again exciting people about off-Broadway theater."

The new performance schedule for That Physics Show will be: Saturdays @ 12pm & 3pm, Sundays at 12pm & 3pm and Wednesdays @ 2pm.

Tickets are $39-$49 and can be purchased online at www.ThatPhysicsShow.com or by calling OvationTix at 866-811-4111. Tickets for groups of 10+ are $24and groups of 60+ are $19. Please call (212) 967-8278 for more information.
