Photo Flash: York Theatre Company Presents One Night Only Concert Reading of I DO, I DO!

The York Theatre Company presented a one-night only concert version of the newly re-imagined version of the beloved Broadway hit musical I Do! I Do!, with book and lyrics by Tom Jones and music by Harvey Schmidt, based on the play The Fourposter by Jan De Hartog, directed by York Theatre favorite David Glenn Armstrong and with music direction by David Hancock Turner, accompanied on piano by Evans Haile. This special one-of-a-kind evening kicked off an eighteen-month celebration of The York Theatre Company's landmark 50th Anniversary.

The cast of five couples featured of Samantha Bruce, Lewis Cleale, Daniel J. Edwards, Nancy Ford, Gerry McIntyre, Janet Metz, Brad Oscar, Peter Saide, Lynne Wintersteller, and the legendary Tom Jones.

The Gala Reception began with a special gourmet catered "Rehearsal Dinner,", followed by the "Wedding Ceremony" Concert Performance of I Do! I Do!., and a dessert and wine reception "The Wedding Reception" immediately following.
