This weekend, actress Sami Gayle (featured in the recent revival of GYPSY and MCC's upcoming FAMILY WEEK) visited the Abingdon Theatre Company and its Off-Broadway hit PHANTOM KILLER, a true-crime thriller by Jan Buttram. Directed by Jules Ochoa, PHANTOM KILLER co-stars Wrenn
Schmidt, Denny Bess and Jon McCormick as three people whose lives become intertwined in the search for a serial killer on the prowl in Texas, circa 1946.

PHANTOM KILLER opened January 31 with critics calling it "tense, compelling and fun!" (New Yorker); "a must-see show" (TalkEntertainment.com); and "an excellent thriller" (CurtainUp.com).

Performances of PHANTOM KILLER -- a new thriller, based on a real-life cold case, about a mysterious murderer stalking the residents of a rural Texas town -- run through February 14 at the Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex's Dorothy Strelsin Theatre (312 West 36th Street): Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:00pm; Fridays at 8:00pm; Saturdays at 2:00pm and 8:00pm; and Sundays at 2:00pm. Tickets are $25. For reservations, visit www.abingdontheatre.org or call 212-868-2055.
